Zarna and I have had many juicy conversations about business, breathing life into passions alongside motherhood and creating a sustainable income for our families and big dreams. So, when she reached out to me a few weeks ago asking to employ my services for a new business that she is bringing to life, I was completely intrigued! In what domain did this new business lie?

It seemed she was just as surprised to share as I was to hear, that the new doors that are opening for Zarna are into the world of AI. She explained that she could see herself becoming the bridge between business owners and AI technology to make businesses more visible online. She shared the analogy of a big tree, roots firmly in the ground, staying connected to this beautiful earth, while her branches extend to the sky - the more technological cosmos - the literal bridge between the earth and AI.

She can see the potential for heart-led businesses to simply incorporate language and structures of AI on their websites to be found by clients who need their work, without investing so much energy in social media. After all, when people are searching for local services, the first port of call is usually google, or even chat GBT, not insta.

I am in awe of how deeply Zarna is following this thread of interest, completely investing herself and resources without needing to have all the answers or even to know where this unexpected passion has come from. 10 months post-partum and the sacral calling has arrived - BOOM!. Step by step, she is following it and I can already see the abundant and lively ground unfolding before her!

Zarna has begun a process of experimentation, collecting all the information and experience she needs to create a highly visible website for her business Luminera over the next 6-months in order to then serve others. Although the doorway is AI, Zarna shares that the idea that she is most excited about is having long-term relationships with clients and having the chance to share what they are about through her own (non-AI) writing.

The intention of the photoshoot was not just to create beautiful images for her website, but also to anchor in this vision and bring it to the physical realm. With the analogy of the tree in mind, we decided to do the shoot here at Soluna Farm, the land that I call home, with its forests, rivers and fields

. It is such an honour that this land is not only becoming a divine backdrop for many the photos that I take but also is HOLDING us energetically in the journeys held here.

We began the session in the Macrocarpa forest right next to our house. It was morning and light was creating little puddles and pools throughout the trees. I remember, when we moved on to this land, I was set firm on not cutting down the trees. Fast forward three years, and I write this from our home built from macrocarpa timber straight out of this forest. I see a common theme here with my skeptical relationship with AI - sometimes it is wise to open ourselves to seeing the resources available to us and use them in a way that connects us deeper with the visions we are creating for ourselves.

So, we sat down in a little clearing, closed our eyes and created our container together, calling in the intentions of fun, enjoying the unfolding and finding divine synchronicity between body and mind to call forward the vision that we were setting out to create. Then we played amongst the trees, chased the light and danced around spilling cacao.

After some time, we decided to head off and explore other spaces. We were walking down the driveway and Zarna pointed to a clay bank and suggested we experiment there. I walk past that clay bank EVERY DAY and it would have never occurred to me to be a scene for photography. But when we arrived, looking through the lens, I was transported to another planet! It guided me back to simplicity and reminded me to keep my eyes open to see magic in the least expected of places - it is not about what something is, but the ability to see actually see it.

Then, after laying around in the paddock with her laptop, we headed to the yurt to finish the photoshoot. That morning, I had borrowed a white curtain and hung it from the ceiling as a backdrop. I have been excited for a long time now to hold photoshoots in the yurt as intimate space for women to really be held as they strip off their layers and become seen. Without all the colour and depth of the natural world, the white back drop really gives a clear and silent reflection for women to see themselves upon. I love these last photos of our session, that emerged from this space, even though the lighting wasn't perfect.

And so it was. Our bellies were hungry and we headed home for lunch!

I am delighted to have been able to capture Zarna in this very beginning phase of her journey and am enjoying the new considerations that our conversations have brought to my life.

Having doubt, myself, about how much I want to employ social media to grow and build Hearth of Her and knowing that I have done the absolute bare minimum to be found on google, I have been soaking up all that Zarna has been sharing. AI, whether we like it or not, exists in this day in age. Why not make use of the tools that we have to easily reach clients, so that we can focus on the very human parts of our business like actually connecting with clients, heart to heart, and telling stories from our human experience? There is a beautiful niche here - if we are going to employ this new and seemingly scary (to some) technology, how beautiful to do it alongside a woman who has her two feet solid on the earth, making it more accessible, connective and easily digestible?
